K2V Photography by Cari Vaughn
Photography is something that I love and enjoy, especially having the support and love of family and friends. I love that I can be around animals and the ranching business, so I can do both things that I love, ranching and being a photographer. I started taking photos about 8 years ago around the ranch, at first taking photos started out as just a hobby, but the more I took photos the more I started to enjoy it. So I decided why not try taking it to the next level and make it my career, so that's exactly what I have done. K2V Photography is a small business in the progress of someday becoming a professional service. I specialize in Western/Ranch and Children/Family photography, but I enjoy doing leisure photos of wildlife, and many other things when I'm not with customers. I love doing photography and I enjoy traveling to meet new people and capture their moments. I'm always learning new things, techniques, and I enjoy every opinion and all the feedback I get. So here is hoping to capture your memories in a forever flash!
About Cari Vaughn
Hey everyone! My name is Cari Vaughn, I'm 24 years old this year (2017). I'm a mother of 3 wonderful children, a 3 year old daughter, 2 year old son and a 6 month old daughter.
I was born and raised in Bagdad, AZ and I still live here, I live and work on my family's ranch and I love every minute of it, which is why I've decided to become a photographer. Ranching is a dying lifestyle and so is the western photography, which is why I've made this my major interest for photography.
Along with ranching and western photography, I do enjoy doing portraits for children and families that wish to have them as well as high school photos for sports or seniors, animal photography, nature and wildlife photos…These are all just some of the types I'm always looking for opportunities to further my learning on how to do better.
I have spent the past few months learning how to take better pictures at different angles, with different lighting, indoors/outdoors and using my camera settings in different situations. I've also been learning how to use the editing programs better and to my advantage on the type of photo I have taken, using the white balance and color enhancements and such. Over the past few weeks I have taught myself how to do smaller and less edits on the photos to keep them more "natural", I have also found a program where I can take a black and white and "pop out" the certain colors in them.
My pricing is variable and I will work with you as much as I can to help you, while still helping keep money in my pockets to save for photography school and equipment.
The current camera equipment that I use is:
~Nikon D3000 DX camera with a 15-55 mm & 55-200 mm lenses
~NikonD40 camera with same lenses as above
~Tripod
